  GPS

Our first GPS based project began in 1993. Since then we have been involved in :

  • Extensive trialing of land based GPS and DGPS receivers. Assessment of the benefits and drawbacks of many of the receivers on the market.
  • Optimising the configuration and operation of GPS receivers to suit particular environments.
  • Design of hardware and firmware for integration of GPS, DPGS, GSM, GPRS, TETRA and trunked radio into vehicle locator units.
  • Improving performance in difficult areas using dead-reckoning and alternative positioning information.
  • Firmware and hardware design of equipment for transmission of DGPS corrections over the data channel of a land based low frequency radio navigation system.
  • Developing hardware and software for time synchronisation of telecom systems to GPS timing.
  • International remote monitoring and control system for GPS and DGPS elements of tracking system.
