Neil Marshall
Neil was sponsored by Smiths Industries Aerospace while
completing his degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at
Portsmouth Polytechnic. In recognition of his work on nautical autopilots
Neil was awarded the "Nautech Prize" for his thesis. He
then returned to Smiths Industries and worked for the Flight Deck
Displays section in Cheltenham. He left Smiths in 1988 to continue
writing software and designing analogue and digital hardware as
a freelance Engineer.
CoralByte Computers Ltd was incorporated in 1990 as a vehicle for
Neil's freelance work. The company has supplied software and hardware
designs to customers around the United Kingdom and throughout the
world.
Spa Technology has now been adopted as a trading name by CoralByte
Computers because most of the work being undertaken is no longer
computer related and encompasses many other fields of engineering,
in particular tracking and AVL.
